Locanda Sant’Ambrogio has been refurbished from an existing agricultural building and is where technology and the rural world combine to create a unique environment.
The building has spacious, welcoming and tastefully-furnished rooms filled with the typical elements of local tradition. The horse stables and food troughs have been converted into a restaurant, whilst the farmhouse and chicken coop have been transformed into a small, 16-room country house including classic rooms, junior suites and a small apartment with kitchenette. Every room has its own particular and distinctive characteristics: the wooden beams, flat brick tiles on the ceiling and wedge grafting on the walls are all existing elements that have been recovered.
Rooms are comfortable and quiet and facilities include wi-fi, LCD TV, safe, air-conditioning and mini-bar. The garden, where breakfast is served when the weather is warm, has some water features. The hotel is in Rivalta, a few kilometres from Matilde di Canossa Golf Club, the city of Reggio Emilia and the parks of the Apennines.
